I'm using a different name to post this because i dont want to risk being traced back to my source.Believe me or not but I know for a FACT that these are the 16 songs cleared to be sung this week. Dont ask me who is singing what because I dont know.I just know that these are the 16 songs arrangements were made for this week.

Not to spread false rumors, but I read elsewhere that Danny is the one doing "Tainted Love."

Now this is a fun topic. I'll have a go at guessing.
1-Everytime you go away
Chikeze. I see him doing an R and B spin on the song.
2-what about love
Carly Smithson. She already did Heart once, and wants to do a repeat performance.
3-tainted love
Danny Noriega. This was spoiled before. Not sold on this song choice.
4-the greatest love of all
Syesha Mercado. I remember reading an interview where she said this was her favorite song to sing.
5-father figure
Luke Menard. He has a breathy voice that would fit perfect with this song. This could be his moment.
6-open arms
David Archuleta.
7-rebel yell
David Cook. It screams him and he should do a fantastic job with it.
8-the rose
Brooke White. This song choice screams her. Another good shog choice.
9-bette davis eyes
Amanda Overmyer. This just screams Amanda. And she will nail the song. This is her moment. Fantastic song choice.
10-celebration
David Hernandez. He chooses more R and B type songs and this fits the pattern.
11-call me
Kristy Lee Cook. She will attempt to do a sassy country number with this song.
12- always something there to remind me
Kady Malloy. Not sold on this song choice.
13-whats love got to do with it
Asiah Epperson. With her raspy vocals, this is almost a given song choice.
14-hurts so good
Jason Castro. I see him doing an acoustic version of this song.
15-we built this city
Ramiele Maluby. Not sold on this song choice though.
16-every breath you take
Michael Johns. This just screams him. |

I can't see Ramiele doing We Built This City. Nothing like her. Not sure why girls are still trying to do Whitney songs. Idiots.
And I would bet on Carly doing Call Me.
I'd be shocked if Amanda isn't doing Rebel Yell. She can't sing for crap and that song is mostly yelling anyway. That's her, I't bet on it.
Always Something There to Remind Me should be Castro. And David C on either Hurts So Good or We Built This City. |

I don't know if it is wise to choose some of those songs. I had thought of suggesting that Danny doing Tainted Love, but I wasn't trying to be kind with that. I just hope that he won't be wearing heavy eyeliner come Tuesday.
Father Figure can get quite dull if not done properly, and Bette Davis Eyes needs an interesting or sexy voice or it will fall completely flat (no, I don't see Amanda pulling that one off, she'd better be doing Rebel Yell). I don't see who can sing We Built This City well.
What's the 60's song Always Something There To Remind Me doing there? (Edited to say that I just remembered Tainted Love is also a 60's song, and Greatest Love Of All is from the 70's).
Interesting choice is Open Arms, I wouldn't have thought of it (not a Journey fan), but listening to it again, the song would suit quite a few there.

| "Greatest Love of All" -- one of the ten MOST CRAPPY songs ever composed. Also, it does not belong in the 1980s era because it was composed in the 1970s and recorded by George Benson in the 1970s. It's like picking "All You Need is Love" for a 2000s era Week just because Mariah Carey covered it in 2004 (well, she didn't but I just made up an example). |
